| In 1949 Richard Rogers founded Rogers Construction, which primarily served as a General Contractor until 1968. With the onset of a new era requiring underground cable installation; Rogers Construction gained a new focus as the company began providing this service for local utility companies. As the company grew, in 1980 the name was changed to Sun Communications to better reflect the industry which was being served. Today Sun Communications has grown into a multi-million dollar operation which has now diversified by adding a new division called Sun Contracting Services. By adding this General Contracting division to the product offering; Sun has come full circle to utilize its strength and experience from the companies inception which was built on providing a practical approach that delivers on time and efficient construction services. |
